In total alignment with the above aphorism as demonstrated by Christ,' we embarked on a love and care seeds sowing mission. This humanitarian act took us to three Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps comprise of Gassa, Riyom and Heipang all in Plateau State and on these chronological dates order; 24th, 26th, 28th December 2020.

At all the places visited, we were warmly and heartily received by the IDPs with the reflection of nothing but happiness and cheerfulness in their expressions which entails and signals what is termed 'Relief.'

Worthy of note is that the IDPs reached are drawn from different communities of Plateau State and beyond whose communities have been ransacked as a result of numerous attacks by Fulani herders killing an uncountable number of people with several houses razed.

For most of them, their villages have been deserted with Fulani Herders now in full custody and possession as efforts of all authorities saddled with the responsibility of reversing this illegal occupation of land has yielded little or no result.

Compounding the issues, most of them especially women and children who had narrowly escaped death in the bloody hands of the attackers either twice or more have been left at the mercy of God with no iota of succour compelling them to unintentionally tow the path of relocation in search of revival and readjustment.

Host communities of some of the victims have also played various roles in terms of reintegration of some into their abodes as temporary camps have to be disbanded after a period.

The secretary of Gassa IDPs camp, Mr Livinus Joseph Jang and other arrays of them in other camps appreciated the organization for maintaining and consistently coming to their aid, prayed that God Almighty open more doors of blessings.

One of the rationales behind this act of benevolence is to help them feel loved, cherished and cared with a view of spurring them that all hope is not lost.

Seasons as Christmas requires people of goodwill to venture into the sphere of assisting those who cannot afford or need help to cushion their plights or lessen their challenges of living.

About two thousand (2000) IDPs across all the camps and Dogo-Nahawa were catered for and served with different meals made up of rice blended with meat and eggs. Candies and biscuit. The rate of joy exhibited by them while eating can be equated to that of a person who won a lottery or hit a jackpot.

The number of the IDPs have reduced in arithmetic progression in terms of comparison with previous years programs, this is because according to them that some have moved to other places in search of greener pastures.
